He says the best advice I ever got in my sales career was two ears, one mouth - listen and probe for their pain and then ask questions to build your value around this. No one wants to hear how good you are, all they want is to hear who can help them - how can you do that without exploring what their need is? Sales is NOT about talking, it's about listening and communicating.
